Have you ever wanted to try your stuff as a NESN broadcaster? During Jimmy Fund Fantasy Day, several broadcaster hopefuls gave it their best delivering all the latest news in Boston sports.
Fans took on the role of a NESN broadcaster at the 19th annual Jimmy Fund Fantasy Day at Fenway Park on Aug. 29, 2010. Participants who entered the fan zone were given an opportunity to host their own version of NESN Daily in hopes of winning a tour of the NESN HD Television Center. The Jimmy Fund Fantasy Day raised nearly $350,000, and all funds raised benefit cancer research and care at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
