Who Will Be Top Dawg of the Week Against the Mariners and Blue Jays? The Red Sox have six series left in the 2010 regular season to make a run into the postseason.

That's 19 games, starting Monday, to patch some wins together in a final attempt to catch the Rays and Yankees.

Adrian Beltre, arguably the team's MVP of this up-and-down season, is returning to his former city for the second time this season. The third baseman has bounced back tremendously from a down year in 2009 with the Mariners, but when returning to Safeco Field this season, he's played a lot like his former self. In four contests at his old confines, he's hitting just .188 (3-for-16) with two RBIs. However, in 11 September contests, Beltre is hitting .366 with four homers and eight RBIs, so there's a good chance he can show his former fans a power display at the plate.

Marco Scutaro, who leads the team with 81 runs, is riding a three-game hit streak in which he is 6-for-14 with four runs scored and three homers. The former Blue Jays shortstop has scored 13 runs in 14 games and owns a .309 batting average this season against his former club.

Although Jed Lowrie has struggled lately, the infielder has put up good numbers against the Blue Jays. Lowrie is 5-for-13 with two homers and four RBIs in six games against Toronto in 2010.

Bill Hall has been an unsung hero for the club this summer and has a very good chance to reach the 20-homer plateau this week for the first time since 2006. In just four games at Seattle's Safeco Field this season, Hall has his two of his 17 homers. He's also hit three homers in 13 games against the Jays this year.
