Brett Favre is one step closer to starting against the Patriots this Sunday in Foxboro.

The Vikings quarterback was spotted walking around the Minnesota Vikings practice facility without the oversized boot that has been protecting his injured left ankle, according to The Associated Press. Favre limped through the locker room with a wrapped ankle, which was fractured in two different spots against Green Bay on Sunday night.

The 41-year-old gunslinger has an NFL record 291-straight starts on the line.

“I wouldn’t put anything past me, to be honest with you,” he told The AP.
