British Golfer Ian Poulter Eats Cheerios Out of Ryder Cup

Some golfers who help win the Ryder Cup use it as a symbol of their accomplishments. Ian Poulter uses it to feed his children cereal.

It is true. Poulter posted a video on Twitter of he and his children chowing down on a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios. But this was no ordinary bowl, it was the Ryder Cup.

Needless to say, many golf purists are infuriated and take it to heart that Poulter would do such a thing.

Is it disrespectful to eat out of a trophy you have earned though? Poulter helped the Europeans win the Ryder Cup and if he wants to eat cereal out of it, then he can. Hopefully, he rinsed the milk residue out of it before putting it back on the shelf with the rest of the cereal bowls.
