Let’s say you were from a foreign land — let’s call it “Europe” — and you didn’t know all that much about baseball, let alone about a specific team called the Boston Red Sox. Now let’s say your favorite soccer team — you probably wouldn’t be calling it “soccer” — was just purchased by American owners of that very same Red Sox team.
You’d probably want to know about who those people are and what they’ve done. Fitting all that information into a short, digestable package wouldn’t be easy.
