You just had to know that it would be a matter of time, one way or another, before Charles Barkley weighed in on LeBron James' latest comments.

After James said earlier this week that the backlash against his decision to sign with the Miami Heat was fueld in part by race, Sir Charles made it clear that he disagreed with King James.

Barkley said that the negative reaction aimed at LeBron was based on the way in which James not only left the Cleveland Cavaliers, but also the way James along with Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade were all introduced as members of the Heat.

"The only criticism I've heard about LeBron and it was my biggest criticism, that decision thing was just stupid," Barkley said on WIP radio in Philadelphia. "It was stupid. The second thing when they all came out there dancing around on stage, that was silly. That's the only thing I've heard LeBron get criticized about. That has nothing to do with race."

Barkley also slammed James for continuing to make bad decisions as well as letting the situation continue to escalate.

"It's like watching a movie," Barkley added. "Just when you think it couldn't get any stupider, it gets more stupid."
