Chris Johnson, Ray Rice Turn in Big Performances in Week of NFL Upsets Parity is king, at least for one Sunday in the NFL.

The Sunday afternoon portion of NFL football provided plenty of surprise upsets across the league as Week 5 comes and goes.

Perhaps the biggest shock of the day came in Arizona. The Cardinals upended the defending champion Saints behind the effort of rookie quarterback Max Hall. The BYU product wasn't great, but the Cardinals temporarily erased doubts associated with a sloppy start to the season with a huge home win.

The Saints weren't the only favorites to fall, either. Green Bay fell victim to a game-winning field goal in overtime (and likely lost Aaron Rodgers for at least a week with a concussion), the Bengals were beaten at home by Tampa Bay and perhaps most discouraging for Patriots fans, the Raiders shocked the San Diego Chargers. Of course, the Patriots hold Oakland's first round choice in the upcoming draft, a pick that obviously loses value with every Raider win, as rare as they may be.

Sunday was also a big day for elite running backs in the league. Baltimore's Ray Rice ran wild against the Broncos, picking up 133 yards and two touchdowns in the Ravens' 31-17 win. Chris Johnson bounced back for another big day following a disappointing performance last week. Johnson ran for 131 yards and two touchdowns as the Titans pulled a mini-upset of the Cowboys.

And yeah, the Bills lost again.
