David Pittman might finally play some football.

The defensive back was signed by the Hartford Colonials on Friday.

Pittman was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in 2006. He has also spent time in New Orleans, Houston and Pittsburgh, but only played in seven games, all with the Ravens in 2007. He had 10 tackles and two interceptions in those seven NFL games.

This will be Pittman’s second foray into the UFL. He played for the New York Sentinels last season, but was a member of the Steelers from February until the end of training camp.

The Colonials also released offensive lineman Cliff Louis. Louis had joined the team in September after he was released from the Dallas Cowboys practice squad.
