DeSean Jackson, Josh Cribbs, Chris Cooley Concussions Among NFL Week 6 Headlines Concussions in the NFL have been a much-discussed issue for the past couple years, but the events of week 6 will likely make the conversation far more intense.

DeSean Jackson suffered a gruesome hit from Dunta Robinson, which resulted in both players leaving the game with concussions and Jackson suffering memory loss.

Robinson, who was not intentionally headhunting, was flagged 15 yards for the play, but many believe that the rules need to be more severe.

Chris Cooley suffered a concussion as well, and even played a few series directly after the injury. Josh Cribbs and Mohammad Massaquoi of the Browns also left their game with head injuries.

The issue of head injuries aside, the Vikings were able to edge the Cowboys due to a Tony Romo debacle in what was likely the biggest game of the week — dropping the team to 1-4. Wade Phillips‘ job, however seems to not be in jeopardy.
