If you have Larry Fitzgerald on your fantasy football roster, expect a strong month of October as the Cardinals wide receiver will have some extra inspiration.
That's because Fitzgerald will donate $1,000 for every catch and an additional $5,000 for every touchdown he makes to breast cancer awareness in the month of October.
Fitzgerald lost his mother, Carol, to breast cancer in 2003 and will use Breast Cancer Awareness month as motivation to help raise and money and awareness.
Looking back to last season, Fitzgerald had 24 catches and three touchdowns in the month of October. If he can do that again this season, that will mean $39,000 for breast cancer awareness.
Coaches and players across the league will be wearing pink equipment and apparel to raise awareness for breast cancer.
