LSU-Tennessee Game Takes Shocking Turn, Tigers Remain Undefeated The LSU Tigers helmets were already hurled to the ground in frustration, head coach Les Miles already threw his headset aside, and the Tennessee Volunteers had already lifted their coach in celebration, but the preemptive actions were reversed in a matter of seconds with one single toss of a penalty flag.

The Vols maintained a 14-10 lead over the Tigers in the fourth quarter Saturday afternoon and gained possession of the football in the final play of the game. In a fateful toss of the penalty flag, Tennessee was called for too many men on the field, where theTigers took possession in the redzone and ran through with a touchdown to win the game 16-14.

"It went from a cry, to a frown, to a smile, to a realization of how you really won the game," said LSU linebacker Kelvin Sheppard, according to ESPN.com.

In other NCAA football news, Chase Rettig got the start for Boston College against Notre Dame –where they lost a 31-13 deficit in Chestnut Hill. Washington eked out a last-minute victory against USC, taking a 32-31 win with a last-second field goal.
