Lyon's Lisandro Lopez might be just the support needed for the Reds to bounce back from a poor start to their season.

Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson is looking to strengthen his team as the team has struggled to start the year. The addition of Lyon striker, ex-Porto star Lisandro Lopez could provide the top class support for Fernando Torres that Liverpool needs.

Lyon is also struggling to find new additions to their team. They are looking to get cash to bring in new players to their team in order to recuperate from their disappointing start in Ligue 1.

Hodgson will most likely scoop up Lopez in January once he receives money to invest in talent from the new Liverpool owners, New England Sports Ventures.
