To say that Florida Gators coach Urban Meyer is disappointed in his team’s loss to Mississippi State on Saturday would be an understatement.

“We're not very good,” Meyer kept repeating to reporters after the game.

The Gators lost, 10-7, missing a field-goal attempt in the final seconds that would have tied the game.

Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen, who used to be Florida’s offensive coordinator, said that he didn’t consider the win an upset.

“I said all week I've had success in this stadium,” Mullen said. “This is not an upset. Our team expected to win this football game.”

Florida has now lost their past three games. The Gators haven’t lost three games in a row since 1999.

With their loss to Mississippi State the Gators have fallen out of the AP college football rankings, while the Bulldogs rose to 24th place.
