Nathan Horton, Michael Ryder, Jordan Caron Nominated for Captain Morgan Goal of the Week If the first two weeks of the NHL regular season are any indication of how this Bruins offense will fair this year, then B’s fans are in for an exciting campaign.

They’ll also have the chance to voice their opinion on their favorite goals as each week, NESN.com will offer fans the opportunity to vote for the Captain Morgan Goal of the Week from the previous week of Boston Bruins action.

Which Bruins goal was your favorite from last week?

Michael Ryder got the scoring started in Boston’s 4-1 win over the Capitals on Oct. 21. Ryder buried a power-play tally — his second goal of the season — on feeds from Patrice Bergeron and Tyler Seguin.

Rookie Jordan Caron lit the lamp for the first time in his NHL career in that same contest as the 19-year-old winger potted the game’s second goal with assists from Bergeron and defenseman Matt Hunwick. Caron was able to snipe the top shelf over the near side of Caps netminder Semyon Varlamov‘s shoulder.

Newcomer Nathan Horton, who leads the team with five goals and nine points, registered what B’s fans will likely come to know as a “Horton goal” in Boston’s loss to the Rangers on Oct. 23. Horton, who got a beautiful between-the-legs feed from David Krejci from the corner, snapped off a quick wrister from the high slot to beat keeper Henrik Lundqvist far side.
