Jack Edwards''New Jack' Segment Makes Triumphant Return to Radio Airwaves

Ladies and gentlemen, New Jack is back.

Last May, NESN Bruins play-by-play announcer Jack Edwards hit the airwaves on 98.5 The Sports Hub under the moniker “New Jack.” He read some lyrics to hip-hop songs from the 1980s and ’90s, and the results were, as expected, fairly hilarious.

(The songs are part of the “new jack swing style” that was popular in that time, hence the “New Jack” nickname.)

Though it’s been months since his last apperance, “New Jack” returned Wednesday morning on Toucher and Rich. And that’s where the words should stop and the audio should begin. Check out the clip below.
