Oregon Ducks Lead AP, USA Today College Football Polls

Oregon topped the AP college football poll for the first time this season, while long-time leader Alabama climbed back up one spot after falling dramatically last week.

This is the first week that Oregon has been number one in the AP rankings, which go back to 1936.
Alabama led the AP’s Top 25 until last weekend, when they fell to eighth after losing to South Carolina in Week 6.  Alabama is now in seventh.

TCU, Auburn, LSU, and Michigan State all hold perfect 7-0 records.

Ohio State fell nine spots, from first to tenth place, while the Oregon Ducks took the lead in the USA Today college football poll.

Ohio fell after being beaten by Wisconsin on Saturday, their first loss of the season. So far Ohio is 6-1 this season.

Oregon is currently on their bye week, and have a 6-0 record so far.
