Overcast Skies, Showers Don’t Deter Scullers in Day 2 of the Head of the Charles Regatta (Photos) The beautiful weather that accompanied the first day of the 46th Head of the Charles Regatta along the Charles River in Boston unfortunately failed to follow into Day 2 on Sunday.

But even with clouds overhead and rain eventually falling, participants were not deterred from racing in the second day of the river’s annual gathering.

Spectators came out by the thousands once again and were willing to ignore the weather to watch their favorite scullers in the final day of the races.
