Paul Pierce Shows Off New 'The Truth' Tattoo, Asks for Fans' Feedback While new teammate Shaquille O'Neal was busy posing as a statue in Harvard Square on Thursday, Paul Pierce was getting some new ink.

The Celtics' captain got his nickname, "The Truth," tattooed across his arm, complete with a shamrock and a dice roll of seven (not coincidentally his jersey number of 3 and 4). He posted a picture on his yfrog account:

"New ink tell me what y'all think," Pierce wrote on Twitter.

In case it wasn't obvious already, the shamrock permanently drawn on Pierce's skin guarantees he'll be a Celtic for life.
