Jamie Arniel thinks he's in the best shape he's ever been in.

The Providence Bruins center told Adam Kaufman that he focused more on strength and size this summer to improve from his P-Bruins Rookie of the Year season in 2009-10.

"I had stretches where I was good, stretches where I didn't do anything at all, really, and I want to be more consistent this year," Arniel said. "I want better stats than last year as well."

Last year Arniel got 12 goals and 16 assists, the most of any Providence rookie. Arniel has one goal and one assist in five games so far this season.

Hear Arniel take questions from his teammates Lane MacDermid, Jeff LoVecchio and Max Sauve, and listen to his impression of a Family Guy character below, in this week's P-Bruins Player Mailbag.
