We've entered a new era in New York Knicks basketball. No longer are the overpaid, underproducing veterans the stars of the show in the Big Apple — the youth movement is here.

Rookies Timofey Mozgov and Landry Fields have each cracked into the starting five for Knicks head coach Mike D'Antoni. Mozgov is a versatile center, a Russian import that can rebound, block shots, and score both inside and out. Fields is a flashy outside shooter that adds another element to the Knicks' game.

The Knicks are surrounding marquee free-agent signing Amare Stoudemire with dynamic young talent, which will surely pose a threat to Doc Rivers' Celtics on Friday night. These new Knicks are explosive, and any one of them can beat you.

The Celtics will retake the court at the TD Garden with their standard starting five. After a day off Thursday, they should have their legs back under them. Against the Knicks, they'll need it.

Here's the full lineup card for Friday night:

Rajon Rondo, PG
Ray Allen, SG
Paul Pierce, SF
Kevin Garnett, PF
Shaquille O'Neal, C

Knicks
Timofey Mozgov, C
Amare Stoudemire, PF

Landry Fields, SG
