Buccaneers tight end Jerramy Stevens wasn't found out for drug possession because of tinted windows — as has befallen many other athletes — but he may have even one-upped that cause.

Police heard loud music coming from Stevens' 2006 Ford pickup on Saturday night and went to see what was going on. They found Stevens in his car and smelled marijuana, after which they found 38 grams in his car, according to the Tampa Tribune.

He was arrested on felony marijuana possession and intent to sell charges, as well as a misdemeanor paraphernalia charge, but was later released on $4,500 bail.

"We're deeply disappointed by this news. We take such matters seriously," said team spokesman Jonathan Grella. "Obviously, Jerramy Stevens will not be participating today. We will address this matter with the seriousness it deserves; but in the meantime, we're focused on the Rams game."

Stevens also had a run-in with the law in 2007, when he was convicted on three DUI counts. He also was involved in six other police incidents from 1998 to 2007.
