There's about a 67 percent chance that Terry Francona and the Boston Red Sox will be battling a dear friend in the AL East in 2011 and beyond.

According to multiple reports, Toronto has narrowed the field to three finalists for the vacant manager's job, including Sox bench coach DeMarlo Hale and Sox pitching coach John Farrell.

Cleveland Indians first-base coach Sandy Alomar Jr. is rumored to be the third candidate.

Farrell just finished his fourth year as Boston's pitching coach while Hale has been part of the Red Sox coaching staff since 2006.
