Lakers center Andrew Bynum disappointed his fans last week when he said he would likely be out until late-November. This week, he may have disappointed them even more.

Asked by the Los Angeles Times if he may be out until December, Bynum responded that "it's a possibility."

"I've got a little bit of pain still," he added. "It just depends on when I'm cleared."

Head coach Phil Jackson and Bynum, who had surgery in July, seem to have their information mixed up.

"He's been saying that," Jackson said, according to the L.A. Times. "I don't know why he's talking about December. He can get weight-bearing activities started at the end of this month. Can you play in two weeks [after that]? Can you play in three weeks? Four weeks puts you at the end of November. So let's just let it happen and not talk about what the timing is."

Bynum chipped in with 15 points and 8.3 rebounds per game in 65 games last season.
