Add winger Charles N’Zogbia to the long list of offensively gifted players Liverpool is looking to add to its roster.

According to a People report, LFC boss Roy Hodgson will make a £9 million offer to Wigan Athletic, N’Zogbia’s current squad, during the January transfer window. The report claims that Hodgson and three scouts saw the 24-year-old French winger play against Bolton, and saw him play Sunday as well.

N’Zogbia has also played for Newcastle United and for the French national team. His pacing abilities would make an excellent addition to an LFC club badly in need of someone to help Fernando Torres offensively.

Wigan manager Roberto Martinez has said he wants to keep his best players, but the £9 million offer may be too good for Martinez to pass up.

Liverpool has also been linked to Tottenam’s Niko Kronjcar and Lyon’s Lisandro Lopez over the past few days as they look to right the ship and head away from the relegation zone.
