ESPN reports that Mathias Kiwanuka will be out this week with a bulging disk, watching from the sidelines as his team battles the Chicago Bears at home. Kiwanuka practiced all week with the team, so the announcement comes as a bit of a surprise.
The former Boston College star leads the Giants this season with four sacks in just three games.
The Giants might also be without Osi Umenyiora, who is listed as questionable with a swollen knee.
