Mike Tyson is back in the spotlight and it has nothing to do with boxing or his new acting career.

According to TMZ.com, Tyson is being sued for $25 million by a photographer who claims Tyson hit him with a closed fist.

Antonio Echavarria, the photographer, claims Tyson attacked him with a closed left fist and broke his camera on Nov. 11, 2009. Tyson was leaving LAX and was being hounded by Echavarria. Tyson claims that he felt the photographer was a threat to his daughter and reportedly punched Echavarria in the face, causing a minor laceration.

The two men performed citizen’s arrests on each other before both were arrested for misdemeanor battery by Los Angeles police.

The case was dropped because of “insufficient evidence,” but Echavarria is now suing in civil court. He is seeking $25 million for a concussion and strain to his spinal cord that he claims Tyson inflicted.
