For its fourth consecutive season, the TD Garden will host the Mini 1-on-1 competitions between New England youth hockey teams. This season, the Garden will host the boys' 10-and-under bracket, which will kick off on Oct. 30 during the Bruins' first intermission.
Ron DeGregorio, President of USA Hockey, stopped in to discuss the return of the competition with NESN's Kathryn Tappen. DeGregorio gave a special thanks to TD Bank for giving the opportunity for the youth hockey players to skate on the Bruins' ice.
"Youth hockey is supposed to be fun," DeGregorio said. "We have fun doing it, they have fun doing it on the ice, and I think that brings out the best in the players."
