Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow picked a good time to score his first NFL touchdown.

With the Denver defense decimated, the rookie quarterback scored his first career score — on the ground, naturally — when he found the end zone from five yards out Sunday in Denver.

Tebow, who has been used sparingly this season, took the snap from the shotgun formation and then scampered into the right corner of the end zone on a designed run. The touchdown made it 7-7 in the first quarter after the Jets got on the board first when Mark Sanchez hooked up with Braylon Edwards for a 32-yard touchdown.

The Broncos followed up the Tebow touchdown by calling and successfully recovering an onside kick.
