Tim Thomas Opening Eyes With Quick Start for Bruins It's tough to imagine, but Bruins goalie Tim Thomas, a Vezina Trophy winner, may have been a bit of an afterthought heading into the 2010-11 season. After two starts, though, it's time to start paying attention again.

Thomas followed up a shutout in his first start on Oct. 10 with another stellar performance Saturday night in New Jersey in a 4-1 win for the Bruins over the Devils. For those ready to anoint Tuukka Rask the permanent starter, Thomas is making it clear he won't go down without a fight.

While balancing two goalies can be difficult for a coaching staff, Hall of Famer Brian Leetch stressed on Sunday's NESN Daily that it is a good problem to have.
