Thousands of players have played in the NFL, and according to the league’s television network, only 20 of them have been better than Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

Brady makes the cut of the NFL Network’s Top 100 players at No. 21.

The three-time Super Bowl winner is ahead of some pretty impressive quarterbacks, including greats like Roger Staubach, Terry Bradshaw, Bart Starr, Troy Aikman and Steve Young.

It will be interesting to see what other remaining quarterbacks Brady beats out, as signal-callers like John Elway, Dan Marino, Brett Favre and Peyton Manning have yet to be named on the list.

Patriots fans may be surprised to see that the NFL Network chose New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter to “introduce” Brady in the list. Jeter, no stranger to winning championships himself, raves about Brady’s abilities and his knack for coming up big when it matters most.

Brady will be featured on the upcoming episode of The Top 100, which will air Thursday, Oct. 21, on NFL Network at 9 p.m. ET.

The Brady video can be seen here on the NFL website.
