While Halloween may be a holiday reserved for scary costumes and pranksters, the Boston Red Sox are looking to add a few smiles with another great community event.

Wally the Green Monster will be appearing alongside Fenway Ambassadors and the 2004 and 2007 World Series trophies this Friday.

Wally and friends will be stopping by Timilty Middle School in Roxbury, the City of Boston Elderly Commission at the Knights of Columbus in Charelstown, the Boys and Girls Club in Roxbury and the Jimmy Fund Clinic.

Besides giving fans a once-in-a-lifetime, up-close look at the World Series hardware, they will be giving out some delicious candy and fun Red Sox-themed items.
