Wes Welker has looked pretty good thus far in 2010 — already having matched his touchdown total from 2008 and nearly reached his 2009 mark — but he still has a ways to go.

In a discussion with ESPN’s Suzy Kolber in the prelude to Monday night’s Dolphins-Patriots battle, Welker talked about his rehabilitation process, Tom Brady’s role in his recovery and how he’s doing now.

“It’s hard to put a number on it, but I’m definitely not 100 percent. It’s just lacking that little bit, that little bit that really got that separation, that little bit of quickness, that little bit of something that’s just not there yet. But we’re getting there,” Welker said.
