Which Bruin Has Gotten off to the Most Surprising Start? The Bruins have surely rebounded well since their opening loss to the Phoenix Coyotes in Prague. After the 5-2 defeat, they have won their next two matches by a combined 7-1 margin.

Much of that success can be attributed to Tim Thomas. While Tuukkaa Rask was not really at fault for the opening loss, Thomas was given the opportunity in the two subsequent games, and he came through with 60 saves on 61 shots, a save percentage above 98.

The offense, though, has perhaps been even stronger. Many expected Nathan Horton to score, but he has five points through three games, making him the team's scoring leader. Tied for second on the squad are Michael Ryder and Milan Lucic with three points apiece.

The team's leader in plus-minus, though, is Mark Rechhi, with a plus-3 rating.
