Which Opposing Player Do Bruins Fans Love to Hate the Most? The Boston Bruins' spoked-B has long served as a target for opposing NHL teams.

Throughout the rich history of the original six franchise, there have been about three hated opponents for every beloved Bruin legend, and the city's most passionate fan base have handled these goons with grace and grandeur.

Or something like that.

Yes, if there's one thing B's fans are good at, it's hating the enemy. But which current player do Bruins fans love to hate the most? With Ranger Sean Avery coming to town on Saturday night, he'll remind the city just how nasty and sly he really is. After all, he's the one who smacked a kneeling Tim Thomas with his stick after a whistle in 2009.

But there's another goon out there with a target on his back in Matt Cooke, the Penguins' winger who blind-sided B's center Marc Savard last season. Savvy returned briefly during the postseason, but is still sidelined because of that cowardly act.

Another goon to surface last season was Flyers' winger Daniel Carcillo who not only saluted the Fenway Park crowd following a Winter Classic bout with Shawn Thornton, but he later accused Savard of biting him after a whistle.
