If Shaquille O’Neal wasn’t a basketball player, there’s a good chance he’d be a wrestler.

Shaq, a wrestling fan since he was a “young juvenile,” got the chance to host WWE Monday Night Raw in July 2009.

Shaq admitted that his favorite wrestling moment was when Hulk Hogan body slammed Andre the Giant in Wrestlemania III

Since the match was held in Washington, D.C.’s Verizon Center, Shaq also decided to bet with one of his handlers that he could get into the White House, with the loser having to do 1,000 pushups. Shaq lost

For maybe the first time, Shaq wasn’t the biggest athlete in the arena. Here’s video of Shaq challenging Chris Jericho and The Big Show as host of Raw.

NESN.com will showcase one Moment of Shaq every day until the Celtics open the season against the Heat on Oct. 26 at the TD Garden.

Saturday, Oct 16: Shaq not pleased with the new technical foul rules.
