Let the speculation begin, Randy Moss has been waived. Well, just about.
In a statement released on the team website, Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress made official what had been a rumor all Monday — they're parting ways with Moss, a move that will likely officially take place on Tuesday.
"This decision was made based on what we thought was in the best interests of the Minnesota Vikings, both in the short and long term," Childress said in the statement. "We wish Randy the best as he moves forward in his career."
