Bruins players and fans have purchased and donated $70,000 worth of tickets for local military families to attend the Bruins matchup with the Devils on Monday.

The special night, presented by the Massachusetts and Maine Army National Guard, will honor local military members and their families throughout the night with photo montages on the Garden HDX, zamboni rides and video messages, while a select few have the chance to shake hands with the Bruins as they leave the locker room during intermissions.

To show their support, Mark Stuart and Blake Wheeler each purchased $5,000 worth of tickets to the game, which were given to local military members and their families. In addition to this generous offer, Bruins fans showed their support by donating over $70,000 worth of tickets through the Boston Bruins "Seats for Soldiers" program.

The "Seats for Soldiers" program enabled fans to purchase specially-priced $99 lower-level seats and $50 upper-level seats. All tickets were donated to the Boston Bruins Foundation, who then donated them to the USO New England.

The Bruins Foundation will be holding a silent auction on Level 4 in the TD Garden after the warm-ups. The Bruins will be warming up with special camouflage wrapped sticks, which they will sign to be auctioned off. Along with sticks, six camouflaged, autographed jerseys of Patrice Bergeron, Zdeno Chara, Nathan Horton, David Krejci, Tuukka Rask and Tyler Seguin will be auctioned off as well.  All proceeds go to the Homes for Our Troops, which is a national non-profit organization committed to those who have returned from their duty with serious disabilities and injuries since Sept. 11, 2001.

Prior to the start of the game, Army Staff Sergeant Michael Downing will join Stuart and Wheeler on the ice for a ceremonial puck-drop. SSG Downing was on his second deployment in Afghanistan when an IED explosion left him a double amputee in September of 2008.

The Boston Bruins Pro Shop and Arena Fan Zone shops will be selling military night commemorative "Homes for Our Troops" Bruins T-shirts. All proceeds will benefit the Homes for Our Troops organization.

The Pro Shop and Arena Fan Zone offer 10 percent of at all times to individuals with military IDs, however, in conjunction with the Military Appreciation Night, all military members will receive a 20 percent discount on Monday.
