Bruins, Leafs Matchup Created Five-Ring Circus at Garden on Oct. 28

Last Thursday's game with the Leafs provided a rare gathering of past Stanley Cup winners. Between the Boston and Toronto rosters, a member of every Cup-winning club since the lockout was represented.

The Leafs featured players from the three most recent champions with forward Kris Versteeg, who won a ring with Chicago in 2010, center Mike Zigomanis, who was on Pittsburgh's championship squad in 2009, and defenseman Brett Lebda, who got his name on the Cup with Detroit in 2008.

The Bruins countered with Shawn Thornton, a member of Anaheim's Cup-winning squad in 2007, and Mark Recchi, who won his most recent ring with Carolina in 2006.

Not a bad collection of champions for two franchises that haven't won a Cup as a team since 1972 (Boston) and 1967 (Toronto), respectively.
