Chad Ochocinco Seeks Advice From Jesse Jackson

Chad Ochocinco‘s ideas about his partnership with Terrell Owens in Cincinnati haven’t exactly gone as planned.

When Ochocinco would describe the tandem during the preseason, he jokingly called them “Batman and Robin” and “Shrek and Donkey.” In actual reality, however, he surely never thought that he would actually be playing second fiddle, but Owens has clearly made the receiver formerly known as Chad Johnson the sidekick. Add in the team’s 2-6 record, and things couldn’t be much worse for Ochocinco.

In the wake of Monday night’s outburst, Ochocinco has enlisted some pretty serious help — the Reverend Jesse Jackson.

Ochocinco tweeted on Tuesday, “One of the most influential men in the world just gave me the best advice about the adversity I’m going through,” and included a picture of himself and Jackson.

It has not yet been revealed what Jackson told Ochocinco.

Owens has amassed seven touchdowns and 770 yards thus far, five touchdowns, nearly 300 yards and 25 more targets than his other half. Even Jordan Shipley, with a touchdown and nearly 400 yards this season, is having a season statistically similar to Ochocinco as well.
