Steven Gerrard may be out with a hamstring injury, but his Reds teammate, Christian Poulsen, says Liverpool must continue to play well.

"We hope he will be back quickly," Poulsen told BBC Radio Merseyside. "It's a big miss that the captain is not here as he's a key player."

Gerrard will be out for up to four weeks, a huge loss for a Reds team that is within six points of the top four and the Champions League places after Saturday's 3-0 win over West Ham.

"Hopefully we can start with a good game against Tottenham as well," Poulsen said." "It will be a big test for the team. We have to play at 110 percent for the game in London to get some points."
