The Indianapolis Colts have been depleted by injuries this season.

Now, according to ESPN, Anthony Gonzalez has been placed on the IR.

ESPN first reported the news a day after they said he could be out for several weeks with a PCL injury.

Gonzalez was injured Monday night against Houston on a tackle by Texans safety Bernard Pollard.

Gonzalez, who had been suffering from a high ankle sprain earlier this season, was described in the beginning of the week as “banged up” by head coach Jim Caldwell.

Other notable injured Colts include Joseph Addai, Mike Hart, Bob Sanders, Antonio Johnson, Brody Eldridge, Jerraud Powers, Clint Session, Justin Tyron and Robert Mathis.
