Despite winning on Sunday, the Miami Dolphins quarterback situation is in shambles. They tried to shore that up some on Monday by signing veteran quarterback Patrick Ramsey.

Ramsey, the former Washington Redskins quarterback, was picked up by the Dolphins after the team reportedly lost Chad Pennington for the season to a potentially career-threatening shoulder injury. And with the status of Chad Henne uncertain after a knee injury, the Dolphins had to make a move.

The team announced Monday night that they had signed Ramsey to a contract. The No. 32 pick in the 2002 draft started his career in Washington, but has spent time with the Jets, Broncos, Lions and Jaguars.

The Dolphins also have quarterback Tyler Thigpen who actually led the team to victory on Sunday afternoon against the Titans.
