Kevin Garnett tried to put a firm end to all of the controversy surrounding what he said to Pistons forward Charlie Villanueva on Tuesday.

"He's a nobody," Garnett said after the Celtics' overtime victory over the Bulls. "I'm not paying attention to nobodies anymore."

Many have debated whether or not KG actually called Villanueva a "cancer patient" or if his subsequent denial was plausible. Others have also debated whether or not Villanueva's broadcasting of Garnett's comments on Twitter was appropriate.

Former Celtic Brian Scalabrine surely thinks Villanueva's actions were inappropriate, according to ESPN.com.

"I believe that Villanueva broke a code that should have never been broke," Scalabrine said. "What was said out [on the court], stays out there. I would never go to [a reporter] and say stuff that KG is going to say to me [during Friday's game], good or bad."

"Well, maybe, the good," he added.

The Celtics don't see the Pistons again until they head to the Palace of Auburn Hills on December 30.
