Mike Batiste has managed to make headlines more than 10 years after leading the PAC-10 in blocked shots as a member of the Arizona State Sun Devils during the 1997-98 season.
Unfortunately, it’s for kicking someone in the head.
The Panathinaikos center recently kicked Saso Ozbolt of Union Olimpija as Ozbolt lay on the ground under the hoop. After the incident, Batiste made his way Ozbolt’s bench to apologize for the act.
