Milan Lucic got the week going with a flurry of goals in a Bruins win over the Panthers. The power forward is nominated this week for his efforts in scoring his 10th goal of the season, securing his second-career hat trick. The goal came just 15 seconds after his second tally of the night on his way to the natural hat trick.

The Bruins came out a bit sluggish on Saturday night, but were able to grab a point after they rallied back to force overtime before losing in a shootout. Gregory Campbell is in the running for Goal of the Week honors this week for his third period goal that sent the game to overtime.

Finally, the old veteran Mark Recchi became the 13th player in NHL history to record 1,500 career points on Wednesday night in a 3-1 win over the Panthers in Florida. Recchi’s scored two goals on the night, the first giving the B’s a 2-1 lead and the second, an insurance goal, gave him 1,500 points for his career.
