P-Bruins Using Balanced Scoring Attack to Battle Back After Slow Start to Season

It's been an inconsistent start for the Providence Bruins, but the P-Bruins have shown signs of turning the corner as of late, especially offensively.

Providence heads to Albany on Sunday afternoon to square off with the Devils, the third game in as many days for the Bruins. They're looking to make it three straight wins, though, after offensive outbursts against Bridgeport and Portland in which the B's scored 11 goals. More importantly, they picked up two wins.

P-Bruins head coach Rob Murray says a new emphasis on grinding it out, especially near the net, is making a world of difference.

"We talked about getting bodies and pucks to the net and not looking for the pretty plays which was our downfal last week or the week before," Murray said on Sunday. "We were just trying to make things too cute out there where as we need to get greasy and score goals by getting pucks to the net and crashing the net which we're doing a pretty good job of the last couple of nights."
