Patrick Chung’s Nagging Knee Injury the Only Sour Spot in Patriots’ Win in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH — The Patriots appeared to avoid any major injuries during their impressive victory against the Steelers, but they've still got a few issues they'll have to focus on going forward.

Here's the Monday health checkup.

Quarterback Tom Brady played through a right foot injury that kept him out of one practice last week and limited him in two others. Brady showed no signs of pain, and to boot, he played his best game of the season.

Running back Fred Taylor missed his sixth consecutive game with a toe injury on his left foot. Taylor practiced all week on a limited basis, but he was ruled out Saturday night, which showed he's still got some room to go. However, it's not a big reach to think he might be able to play next week against the Colts.

Safety Jarrad Page missed his fourth consecutive game with a left calf injury, and he hasn’t practiced since going down against the Ravens. There is no real indication for his return.

Defensive lineman Myron Pryor did not play due a back injury that kept him out of practice all week. There is no timetable for his return.

Right guard Stephen Neal did not play due to a shoulder injury that limited him in practice all week. This will probably be a week-to-week issue until it heals.

Safety Patrick Chung returned after missing two games with a knee injury, but it appeared as though he might have aggravated the knee a couple of times during the game. While it appears to be a minor issue — at least as knee injuries go, anyway — this might be something that lingers for a little bit.
