The Providence Bruins are starting to get their season turned around, and coach Rob Murray knows it.

The P-Bruins beat the Bridgeport Sound Tigers 6-1 Friday night, in an all-around impressive performance. Providence scored three times in the third period alone in the rout, and has now netted eight points through the team’s first 10 games.

“Obviously getting two goals in 15 seconds … it just propels you that much further,” Murray said. “It really gets you feeling good about yourself, and you can just feel it on the bench.”

To hear Murray talk about his team’s budding confidence, Jordan Smotherman’s impressive game and more, listen to his interview with Adam Kaufman below.
