Report: Murder Suspect Earl Barranco Arrested in VIP Area at Bobcats-Magic Game

Earl Barranco allegedly shot Corey Scott five times two weeks ago at the Good Stuff Diner in New York City.

On Saturday night, the murder suspect was in the VIP area at the Bobcats-Magic game in Charlotte, the Charlotte Observer reports.

Undercover cops took Barranco down in the VIP area at approximately 8 p.m. Saturday night, and he is being held at a Meckenlburg jail without bond.

Barranco reportedly had friends in the Charlotte area. He is awaiting an extradition hearing.

It is unclear how police figured out that Barranco was at the game.
