Wes Welker better keep that left leg loose.

Well, not really, but the Patriots might need to bring in a kicker for the next couple of weeks, as Mike Giardi of CSNNE reported that Stephen Gostkowski will likely miss a game or two with his right quadriceps injury.

Gostkowski's leg "tightened up" in the first half of Sunday's game, and he was seen stretching it out just before kicking an extra point early in the second quarter. He didn't kick again, as Welker was called upon to kick an extra point and a kickoff later in the game. He was successful on the PAT, but forcing your wide receiver who's still just 10 months removed from a devastating knee injury into kicking duty isn't exactly a winning strategy.

The Patriots reportedly worked out Shayne Graham and Shaun Suisham in October, both of whom are still free agents.
